Divine sound is the cause of all manifestation.
The knower of the mystery of sound knows the mystery of the whole universe.

Music then, becomes the voice of the great cosmic oneness
and therefore the optimal way to reach this final state of healing.

― Hazrat Inayat Khan

Cypress’ work with sound integrates more than two decades study of music, yoga, meditation, and ritual healing arts— fusing ancient technologies with modern modalities.

Sound immersions promote profound states of meditation—opening us to new possibilities of clarity, rest, resilience, and life vision. Sound healing journeys, sound baths, and sound meditation concerts are unique experiences designed to safely guide you to connect with your deepest self.

Sound coupled with deep listening swiftly calms the mind and grounds the body. We discover how to recieve with our entire body, in a conscious state of rest. When we practice engaged listening, we amplify our natural capacity to attune with greater subtlety and presence.

The fundamental nature of the universe is vibrating energy, and we are vibrational beings. Indigenous shamanic and yogic traditions have long journeyed with sound, voice, and sacred instruments. Science has also proven that a meditation practice helps us cultivate a conscious state of awareness— activating innate healing capacity, neuroplasticity, and creativity. Meditation has proven to increase gray-matter density important for learning, memory, self-awareness, compassion, and introspection. (Harvard 8 week study).

In fact, studies show that meditating with Tibetan singing bowls significantly reduced tension, anger, fatigue and depressed mood  — with blood pressure and heart rate reduced more than silent meditation alone.

Sound Meditation uses sound, rhythm, and vibration to bring people into deep states of relaxation, healing, and meditation. Through the process of brainwave entrainment, sound meditation can lead listeners to profound states of consciousness that allow them to connect deeply with their inner world and individuated experience of insight and creation.

Toning, chant, rhythm, and group sound-play can serve as activating tools to deepen our experience, generate self expression, resilience, and collaboration in groups.
