Join us for a sublime summer experience of Ceremonial Sound Medicine in the Redwoods. Held in a private garden amphitheater nestled in the forests of Mill Valley, we gather for a ritual evening of connection, deep listening and sound meditation journey in nature.
Our evening will include ritual, opening and closing circle integration, meditation, toning, breathing, and evocative sound journey. From transporting vocals to subtle sonic textures, rhythmic portals to expansive overtone-generating instruments, Cypress immersive sound experiences deliver a distinct blend of enrapturing melody, dynamic musicality, and healing resonance. You’ll receive individual attention, in close proximity to the voice and instruments, and as Cypress walks the space. Soundscapes feature mantra, medicine melodies, shruti, Tibetan singing bowls, drum, gong, world and shamanic instruments. These full-body listening experiences open us to new possibilities of deep calm, insight, healing, and vision.
This will be a seated and semi-seated experience in the amphitheater, nestled amidst the tiered garden's stone benches, steps, and landings. Some cushions and will be provided—but please bring your own comforts for stone seating. Bring layers for eve temperatures.
Afterward, stay socialize and nibble, share a community potluck —please bring a dish or snack to share. We’ll also be able relax and eat inside (as temps drop) and enjoy our hosts charming mause house temple in the woods.
Also choose to explore a curated selection of sound + ceremonial tools for your home and professional practice, hand-pounded Tibetan singing bowls, hand-carved rattles, ceremonial medicine beadwork jewelry, hape, and karipes— offered in collaboration with Embera and tribal artisans from Peru, Brazil, Columbia, and Napal. Sales help directly support artists and craftsman.
